London to Paris Charity Cycle Ride

London2Paris

Last month, Lee Walding our Technical Director and
Adam Walding the Director of our sister company Leeways Joinery along with 4 friends, took on the challenge of cycling from London to Paris. That’s over 300 miles in just 4 days!

The weather left a lot to be desired with heavy rain throughout the duration of the trip. This, along with one small dog bite, lots of blisters and 16 punctures between the two of them – we are immensely proud to announce that they did it!

So far between the 6 boys, they have managed to raise £8,500 for Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, £1,000 for the British Heart Foundation and £1,000 for The Knock On Effect with the remainder of the money still coming in going to Gloucestershire Sands, which should total between £3,000 – £4,000.

We also wanted to say a big thank you to all of our customers and suppliers that provided us with raffle prizes, cakes and t-shirt sponsors, the amazing amount of money they managed to raise could not have been achieved without your help.

Donations can still be made via their Just Giving page http://www.justgiving.com/L2P4SANDS

Well done boys!
